Give an 8 year old boy a package of Fun Dip and can of Red Bull and that's what it's like watching Ben on stage. His ADHD usually kicks in somewhere between song #2 and #5.
The piano and vocal lessons began early in Ben's primary years. They were soon accompanied by professional vocal choirs, musicals, talent shows and rock and roll bands. A native of Syracuse, NY, Ben has been performing professionally since his college years. He went to school as a vocal major but reconsidered his focus when he became cognizant that rocking out, working a room and meeting women weren't part of the rigorous curriculum of a vocal major. He decided that teaching was the way to go, but always had the desire and passion to pursue a career in performing.
Ben was introduced to the world of dueling pianos 7 years a go. He was intrigued by watching the audience become the show and watching people of all ages appreciate all types of music, from Guns and Roses to Dr. Dre to Garth Brooks. Watching an 80 year old woman dance on stage to "Baby Got Back" was certainly a close second. He spent many years traveling the country and performing alongside some of the most talented musicians in the industry.
Ben recently relocated to Charlotte, NC to become a member of Keith's team at Piano Man. He feels fortunate and blessed to have the ability and talent to pursue a successful career in sing-along. Not only does he bring a soulful voice and vast repertoire to the stage, but his personality and smile are infectious.
